For tax preparation, a report of all your donations for the previous year will be sent during the month of January.

	The Open Door is recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization under the provision of IRC Section 501(c)(3), therefore cash donations we receive are tax-deductible.
	The Open Door is an eligible organization for purposes of the Michigan tax credit for cash donations made to homeless shelters and food banks. Your cash contributions to The Open Door can be applied toward this tax credit.
