Location:
The Open Door is at 412 W. Buttles St., near the corner of Buttles and Jerome
(M20). It is across
the corner from the Midland city and county administration buildings. We
have a sign in the front yard.
Directions:
From Mount Pleasant: Follow M-20 into Midland. After you cross
the bridge over the Tittabawassee River, you will be in downtown Midland.
The first traffic light after the bridge is the intersection of Main Street and
Jerome (M-20). The second traffic light is Buttles St., which is a one-way
street traveling to your right. The Open Door can be seen to your left. Continue to the third (and last) intersection,
which is Indian Street, a one-way street traveling only to your left. Make
a left at this intersection, move to the far left lane and follow the 180 degree
curve around to Buttles St., where you can pull into the Open Door driveway on
your left before you get to Jerome (B.R. 10).
From Bay City and Saginaw: Take US 10 West to Midland. As US 10
curves north, stay in the left lane and take the second Midland exit, which is a
left-lane off-ramp. You are now on US Bus. 10. Continue until the
divided highway ends, and continue straight on Patrick, which becomes Indian
St. Continue on Indian St. until you pass through the intersection for
M-20 West. Move to the far left lane and follow the 180 degree curve
around to Buttles St., where you can pull into the Open Door driveway on your
left before you get to Jerome (B.R. 10).
From Sanford and Coleman: Take US 10 East to Midland. Pass the
Stark Road exit. Take the Eastman Road exit. At the end of the off
ramp, take a left at the traffic light (which is on Wackerly Rd.) Turn
right at the next traffic light, which is Eastman Rd. Take Eastman Road
south through town, about 3 miles. Past the St. Andrews traffic light,
Eastman Road will curve left to become Buttles. Pull into the Open Door
driveway on your left before you get to Jerome (B.R. 10).
